Profile of Ralf Blankenberg

Ralf Blankenberg is a partner, managing director and founder of the DBC. After an apprenticeship as a petroleum salesman at BP Strohmeyer in Frankfurt, he studied business administration at the universities of Marburg and Frankfurt. After successfully graduating in 1993, he started in sales at a leasing company and then moved to strategic purchasing at Deutsche Bank in 1995. His thematic focus was the purchase of IT and services from IT and business consulting companies. After 2 years he built up the global purchasing system with Lotus Notes and SAP MM and later with SAP SRM for Deutsche Bank, which he was responsible for until the end of 2004.

As a co-founder he joined the DBC in 2005 and took over the management as Managing Partner. In addition, as a management consultant, he leads the implementation of SAP purchasing systems, such as SAP SRM, SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA S&P and CP at various customers. In addition, he advises the purchasing department on strategic, organizational or process-related topics and on product selection.
